What does your job entail?
I help open the shop, take in a few jobs, shuttle customers if necessary, check equipment, stock and clean up the shop, and run through a routine. I have quite a few duties here.

What attracted you to a career in the automotive sector?
I was drawn to the demand for this type of trade and the ability to apply my skills basically anywhere and I like how handy these skills are when I’m off the job.

What do you like most about your job?
The amount of hands-on work involved. I like to keep moving and the pay is quite good. The shop is well kept and we do our parts to be safe and protect the environment.

What kind of training and education did you obtain before coming to the automotive sector?
I took 3 years of automotive in high school, learning the basics, and then when I came to this job I put those basics to work and kept learning things.

What do you think about the future of the automotive sector?
I think it is going to keep growing because everyone drives, and vehicles are always going to need maintenance.
